In common with most Italian immigrants who made their home in Switzerland, the couple Giuseppe & Vanessa Battaglia love for food meant they never lost sight of their culinary roots and set out to provide Italians in Switzerland with food from the homeland.
They opened their first delicatessen in Luzern in 2020 but the couple had a greater ambition. They wanted to make their own cheeses and meat products, so, in 2025 after finding the right investor they began making mozzarella, ricotta and Italian sausages.
One year later, they had been successful enough to built their own purpose designed factory and warehouse. This enabled
them to grow the business and supply the restaurant trade and emerging pizzeria trade as well as Italian delicatessens across Switzerland.
